University of Huddersfield's Arvis Rundvald Joins Hawks

The West Yorkshire Hawks are excited to introduce their newest team member, Arvis Rundvalds, a dedicated student from the University of Huddersfield. With a passion for the game and a drive to succeed, Rundvalds is set to step on the court for Hawks this season.

Rundvalds, a rising basketball talent, embodies the spirit of determination and commitment. Interim Head Coach, Mark Mills, is pleased to welcome Rundvalds, stated, “We are delighted to have Arvis join the team as part of our partnership with the University of Huddersfield. His enthusiasm for the game is commendable. We believe he has the potential to develop into an important part of our team.”

Rundvalds, a student at the esteemed University of Huddersfield, has been on a steady ascent in his relatively short basketball career.  “I am incredibly excited to join the West Yorkshire Hawks,” said Rundvalds. “I am eager to learn from my experienced teammates, contribute to the team’s success, and represent the University of Huddersfield proudly on the court.”

Rundvalds’ signing with the  Hawks represents a significant milestone in his journey as a student-athlete. It showcases the team’s commitment to providing pathways for talented young players to progress in basketball.

The West Yorkshire Hawks are deep in their pre-season preparations ahead of their first ever game later this week.
