University of Huddersfield Alumni Haq Signs For Hawks

The West Yorkshire Hawks are thrilled to introduce the latest addition to their dynamic roster – Hassan Haq, an esteemed alumnus of the University of Huddersfield and former member of the Calderdale Explorers. Haq’s unwavering commitment to basketball are set to elevate the Hawks in the upcoming season.

Hassan Haq, a product of Huddersfield’s rich basketball culture, brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to the West Yorkshire Hawks. Haq’s outstanding perimeter shooting will become a real asset for Hawks in their inaugural season.

Interim Head Coach, Mark Mills, was brimming with excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome Hassan to the West Yorkshire Hawks. His basketball IQ, work ethic, and leadership on and off the court are precisely what we need to compete at the highest level.”

Haq’s basketball development accelerated during his time at the University of Huddersfield, where he became a standout player. He continued to impress during his time with the Calderdale Explorers, earning recognition for his exceptional shooting performances and dedication to the game.
