Lauryn Dunn Brings Speed and Energy to the Hawks
The West Yorkshire Hawks are delighted to confirm Lauryn Dunn as part of the Women’s Team for the 2026/27 season.
Originally from across the pond, Dunn brings playing experience from both overseas and England. Able to operate at point guard or shooting guard, she combines secure ball-handling and strong passing with the speed and energy to drive the team forward.
Dunn said: “I am very excited to be playing for the Hawks this year and can’t wait to see what the team can do together!”
Head Coach Marc Holmes said: “Born across the pond and ready to take on English basketball, Lauryn brings a lot of speed and energy to the team. She is very secure with the ball, a great passer and someone who motivates those around her.”
“Her previous experience playing both overseas and in England will be valuable to our campaign. I’m really looking forward to working with Lauryn!”
Dunn is already working with her teammates as preparations continue for the new campaign.
