Latvian Gutmanis Lands With Hawks

The West Yorkshire Hawks Basketball Team is thrilled to announce the signing of the talented Latvian guard, Edvarts Gutmanis. Ed brings a wealth of basketball experience to our team.

Edvarts Gutmanis, who has been playing the game since the tender age of 6, has honed his skills through youth teams and eventually rose to the second highest division in Latvia. His journey to the United Kingdom led him to the University of Bradford, where he showcased his basketball prowess. For the past two seasons, Gutmanis has been a playing Bradford Dragons in NBL Division 1.

Speaking about this exciting new chapter, Edvarts Gutmanis said, “I am thrilled to join the West Yorkshire Hawks and be a part of the journey. My goal is to help the team win games and become one of the top teams in the division .”
