Hawks' Women's Fixtures Announced

The newly launched West Yorkshire Hawks Deighton basketball team is ready to make its mark on the women’s basketball scene. The anticipation has been building, and now, the moment has arrived. The Hawks will step onto the court for the very first time on Wednesday, 2nd October, at the University of Huddersfield, where they’ll face off against one of British basketballs most iconic clubs feeder teams, the Sheffield Hatters.

 

Tip-off is set for 8:15pm, and the club is encouraging fans from across the region to come out and support the women’s team as they embark on this exciting journey. Entrance to the game is free, making it the perfect opportunity for the community to get behind their new team and create a great home-court atmosphere.

The matchup against the Sheffield Hatters, a club with a storied history and a track record of success, will be a stern test for the Hawks. However, it also represents a golden opportunity to announce their arrival with a statement performance.
