Hawks Team Up With WY Basketball For Youth Basketball Camps
In an clear display of community partnership and shared vision, WY Basketball have clinched a significant grant from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s ‘Mayor’s Safer Communities Fund’. This landmark achievement will see the launch of a dynamic series of basketball training camps tailored for 9 to 11-year-olds, hosted at the University of Huddersfield, the home court of the newly-formed West Yorkshire Hawks.
The West Yorkshire Hawks, emerging as a symbol of the power of basketball in the region, are excited to join forces with WY Basketball in bringing this transformative initiative to life. This collaboration underscores their commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a safer, more connected community through the power of basketball.
The Mayor’s Safer Communities Fund grant serves as a testament to the shared vision of West Yorkshire Hawks and WY Basketball.
