The Hawks left their mark right from the tip-off, showcasing an intense drive that set the tone for the entire game.

The opening quarter was a display of Hawks’ offensive prowess, leaving the shell-shocked LDM team trailing 28-13 by the end of the period. Despite the early setback, LDM showed resilience in the second quarter, slowing down the Hawks’ momentum and narrowing the gap to just 12 points by halftime.

He commended every player for their focus and dedication, attributing the impressive result to their collective effort. Mills also acknowledged the electric atmosphere in the arena, stating, “It was also great to deliver that amazing crowd a result their support deserved. The Hawks’ nest was rocking tonight.”

Leading the charge for the Hawks were Dave Walsh with 27 points, Rob Donaldson contributing 21, and Jamie Cawtheray posting 11. This victory solidifies the Hawks’ position in 4th place and inches them closer to securing their spot in the division for the next season.
