Hawks Re-Sign Club Captain Laing
In a move set to thrill Hawks’ fans and solidified their leadership on and off the court, the West Yorkshire Hawks have officially re-signed club captain Jermayne Laing.
The dynamic 6’0″ guard was a linchpin for the Hawks in their inaugural season. Laing’s impressive performance earned him two coveted end-of-season awards: Defensive Player of the Year and Teammate of the Year.
Reflecting on his return to the Hawks, Laing shared his excitement: “Last year was a very inspiring year, being a new team joining the league. It was a thrilling endeavour and we were eager to see how we would compete. With a clear vision ,and a year behind us, I feel that this year we will blossom and develop as a team even more. I’m very excited to get back on court, roll on year 2”.
