The West Yorkshire Hawks, currently occupying the 4th spot in Division Three, have been delivering some big performances lately and picking up wins along the way. With their sights set on securing a spot in next season’s Division Three, the Hawks are eager to conclude the season on a high note. This fixture marks their penultimate game of the season and the last West Yorkshire derby, adding an extra layer of intensity to the matchup.
Coach Mills expressed his pride in the team’s development over the season, especially highlighting the recent gear change that has propelled them to their current winning streak. They have some experience in their roster and will want to finish what has been a tough season for them on a high. From my perspective, we are purely focusing on us and delivering another big performance like we did on Saturday against LDM.”
On the other side of the court, the Calderdale Explorers are coming off a resounding 31-point victory over Team Sunderland, injecting a boost of confidence into their squad. Despite facing challenges throughout the season, the Explorers are determined to cap it off with a strong showing against their West Yorkshire rivals.
