Experienced Haq Back With Hawks

In a move that will solidify their roster, the West Yorkshire Hawks have announced the re-signing of standout shooting guard Hassan Haq. The University of Huddersfield alumnus, who was instrumental in the Hawks’ inaugural season, returns with high expectations and even higher ambitions.

Haq, whose impressive shooting ability and wealth of experience helped the Hawks make a significant impact in the national league, expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the team. “I’m already excited to get started for next season with the Hawks!” Haq said. “We have an amazing group of players and coaches and, more importantly, the best fanbase who helped us establish a strong first year to build on! I’m working even harder towards being prepared to contribute even more than last year. I can’t wait to get to work and see you all on court real soon!”

Mark Mills, co-founder of the Hawks, couldn’t be more pleased with Haq’s return. “Hassan is a coach’s dream,” Mills remarked. “He brings a positive and determined attitude to every practice and game. Adding to that, his ability to get hot from the perimeter certainly helps. I am expecting Hassan to continue to grow into a leadership role within this team and help us take another big step forward next season.”

Haq’s return marks the fourth signing announcement for the Hawks as they continue to assemble a strong roster ahead of the new season, which tips off in September. His presence not only boosts the team’s offensive firepower but also adds a layer of experience and leadership that is invaluable to the young team.

Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to the club’s social media channels for further updates and signing announcements as the Hawks prepare for another exciting season.
