City of Leeds Next Up For Hawks
Hawks are gearing up to face off against City of Leeds in a pivotal game this Saturday. Heading into the game, the Hawks find themselves in a promising position after securing back-to-back wins over Sheffield Elite, moving them up to 5th in the division with a commendable 4-5 record.
“We are really starting to grow as a team and are close to taking our performances to the next level,” remarks Coach Mills. “The game on Saturday will be a good challenge against a young, well-coached roster. City of Leeds have definitely improved since we met them back in October, and I expect a much tougher challenge on their home floor.”
The City of Leeds enter the game fresh off a confidence-boosting win against Team Sunderland, marking their third triumph of the season. With the momentum on their side, they’ll be looking to build on this success and make a statement against their West Yorkshire rivals.
The last time these two met earlier in the season at the University of Huddersfield, it was the Hawks who came away with a convincing 75-59 win. Rob Donaldson, in particular, delivered another big performance, dropping an impressive 28 points.
As the Hawks prepare to host City of Leeds, they have their sights set on replicating their earlier success and solidifying their standing in the division. A victory in this matchup could potentially propel them into the top 4.
